Listservers of Special Interest to Brain Injury
The Ohio Valley Center sponsers several listservers on topics specific to brain injury. For those that are not familar with listservers, they are groups of persons that are linked through regular e-mail accounts to a discussion group in which a messge sent to the "list" is then distributed to all the members of the group. The lists currently being sponsered are all closed and only members receive the postings. The following is a description of those currently available and the intended audience.

RehabPsych is a list for American Pyschological Association members in Division 22 (Rehabilitation Psychology)

TBIState is a list for state government employees responsible for brain injury programs and eligible for membership in the National Association of State Head Injury Administrators.

BI-Pedia is a list for parents/family members of a child with a brain injury and interested in others.

Or e-mail Gary Lamb-Hart at and make your request. We ask that you only subscribe to those you are legitimently eligible to join.

We are also willing to establish additional lists to cover other subject areas not already set up. If you have an idea for a list in which you would like to participate and you or someone you know is willing to facilitate the list, contact Gary Lamb-Hart. We are particularly interested in persons willing to facilitate lists in the areas of vocational rehabilitation, rehabilitation therapies, rehabilitation nursing and related professions.
